Hadrat Hud was sent to the great and powerful ‘Aad’ nation. Among the six main nations of the world who were destroyed by Allah’s wrath, after the people of Noah, ‘Aad was the second race. Hud (AS) was their descendant. ‘Aad and Thamud were descendants of the son of Nuh (Noah), and the fifth or eighth subordinate male of Noah. The descendants of ‘Aad’ are descended from ‘Ad Ulala’ or the first ‘Aad and the descendants of the son of Thamud, son of the other’ Aad Chani or the second ‘Aad is famous. ‘Aad and Thamud are both groups of Aram. That is why the word ‘Iram’ applies equally to both groups of ‘Aad and Thamud. For this reason, the word ‘Ad Wala’ (Najm 50) and somewhere ‘Iram Jatil Imad’ (Fajr 7) is used in the Qur’an.
The’Ad community had 13 families or tribes. Starting from Amman, they lived in Hazaramat and Yaman. Their field farms were very lively and grainy. They had almost all kinds of bugs. They were tactful and heavy bulls. Allah opened the gates of grace on them. But because of the rift, these nayamatsa stood theirs for tomorrow. They themselves went astray and led others astray. They started boasting about being powerful and ‘Who is stronger than us’ (Fuzeheilat / Hameem Sajdah 15). They abandoned the worship of Allah and re-started the idol worship idol of Noah (peace be upon him). They forgot about the totalitarian floods of Noah who had just happened before a few men. As a result, Allah sent Hud to them as a prophet for their guidance. It should be noted that after the flood of Noah, they are the first to start idol worship.
Had Hadrat Hud and A’ad, the Quran has been narrated in 17 Surahs of the Qur’an.
Call of Hud (A):
In Surah A’raaf 65-72, Allah says,
Translation: And to the ‘Ad community (We sent) their brother Hud. He said: O my people! Worship Allah. You have no god other than Him. Will you not then fear Allah? (A’raaf 7/65). ‘The disbelieving leaders of his community said, “We see you in stupidity, and we think you are among the liars” (66) ‘Hud said,’ O my people! I have no stupidity. Rather, I am a messenger sent by the Lord of the World ‘(67). ‘I convey to you the messages of my Lord, and I am your sincere and trustworthy’ (68) ‘Are you surprised that there has come to you a messenger from your Lord to you, so that he may warn you? Recall that when Allah made you, after the people of Nuh, led him after him, and made you great. Therefore, remember Allah’s reminders that you may prosper. (69) ‘They said,’ Have you come to us only because we worship only Allah, and leave those whom our fathers worshiped? Then bring it to us (the punishment), whose bad news you hear from us, if you are truthful (70) ‘Hud said,’ Punishment and wrath have been constrained on your behalf for your Lord. Why are you dispute with me about those names you and your fathers have named? Allah has not sent any proof (sultan) about those deities. So wait, I too am waiting with you ‘(71) ‘We have saved him and his companions from their mercy, and we rooted those who belied our revelations. In fact they were not believers’ (A’raaf 7 / 65-72).
