Humayun Ahmed is the first novel by Bangla singer Nandita Narake. The composition of 1970 While studying in the Department of Chemistry at Dhaka University, Humayun Ahmed wrote the novel. At this time he was a resident student of Mohsin Hall.
Although written in the 1970s, the novel was not readily published due to the 1971 war of liberation. Immediately after the liberation of Bangladesh, after publishing this novel in a compilation of the mouthpieces published from Dhaka, prominent intellectual and literary Ahmad took the initiative to publish the novel Chhaa. In continuation of this initiative, in the end of 1972, Khan Brothers & Co., Address: 57 Paridas Road, Dhaka-1, Bangladesh, published the novel in book form. K, M, Faruk Khan’s name was printed as a publisher. The scarf was made of board. The price was kept at three and a half rupees. Qayyum Chowdhury painted the cover of the book. The book was written in the dedication, “Nanded paradise parents, brothers and sisters”.
This is a short-length novel. The first version, published by Khan Brothers, was only 70 pages. In many cases the length of the short story is even greater. Humayun Ahmed was able to produce the novel in a limited range. In the first novel, Humayun Ahmed was able to capture the fascinating attention of the readers.
